Sharon Trueman is an Accredited Practising Dietitian who provides nutritional management and counselling to adults, children and babies with a wide variety of health issues — including weight loss, IBS, Low FODMAP diets, diabetes, heart health, sports nutrition, pregnancy and gout.

She also specialises in food allergies, food intolerances and other adverse food reactions.

Professional Background

Sharon completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics in 1994 at the University of Leeds in England. Since then she has worked in a variety of positions in clinical dietetics and health promotion before joining the specialist team at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Allergy Unit in 1998, where she still works one day a week. In addition, she runs three private practices in the Blue Mountains and consults to nursing homes.

Sharon is a current member of Dietitians Australia and is recognised as an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD).
