Orthopaedic Rehabilitation

We have been the trusted provider for physiotherapy at Nepean Private Hospital for over 10 years

We provide physiotherapy services to the Nepean Private Hospital 7 days a week. If you’re having a knee or hip replacement, rotator cuff repair, spinal fusion or any other orthopaedic surgery our team will be right there to help you from start to finish.

Why attend physiotherapy after hospital and rehab?

It takes up to 12 months (and sometimes longer) to get back to full function after a joint replacement surgery.

Physiotherapy can help getting you back to your favourite activities just that little bit faster.

We can also help reduce ‘compensatory’ movement such as limping or guarding which can sometimes have an effect on other areas of your body.

What should I expect when attending a physiotherapy session?

Outpatient physiotherapy at our clinic is different in that we get alot more specific in our exercise selection. We assess your whole body movement and make sure you are not using any compensatory movement patterns.

We also use hands on treatment techniques to release tight muscles, free up scar tissue and get joints moving further – faster!

Can I continue seeing my hospital physio?

Of course! Michaela, Sarah, Grace and Navneet all work in both the hospital AND the clinic (Anna is hospital only – sorry Anna fans!)
